austin lucas “alone in memphis” – signs to new west records

austin

as you may have not heard already, my man austin lucas signed to new west records and is releasing his fifth record, stay reckless, on 8.27. i have zero issue saying that it very well may end up my favorite record of the year, unless of course centro-matic puts something out this year, which supposedly they are. the record was recorded with the folks in glossary, and produced by mark nevers who has worked with lambchop, will oldham, caitlin rose, etc…. here are two tracks off stay reckless, my personal favorite “alone in memphis,” and “so much more than lonely.” oh and he is coming back to baton rouge, at mud and water i believe, on 9.7 and bringing john moreland with him. should be one epic show.
