Mira Mira

“This is a fine soundtrack for thinking.” — Daniel C. Dennett (science philosopher and author of Consciousness Explained and Darwin’s Dangerous Idea)

Mira Mira plays classically-derived music reminiscent of Andrew Bird, Regina Spektor, Joanna Newsom, The Album Leaf, Rachel’s, Sufjan Stevens. Described as "Music for the New Sincerity", pianist Charlie Williams’ band Mira Mira revolves around his classically-trained piano playing, and straightforward, unadorned singing style. Collaborating with a band of cello, drums, guitar, and electronic sounds, this is music that rewards repeat listens and paying attention.
