i am procrastinating at the moment. so i may as well throw this out there. i am still on the fence about these young lads. although, i dig the new record quite a bit more than their debut.

  2. I thought I was the only blogger who wasn’t in love with Bloc Party. Haven’t heard the new one yet, but I’ve read a couple unfavorable reviews. Guess I’ll check it out at some point.

    Sorry to be so forward. I think the album along with the b-sides are great. That is my opinion though after giving them a good listen!

  4. Uh, David, I’ve listened to Bloc Party any number of times. Just haven’t liked them enough to bother seeking out the new album. Not sure why I should feel compelled to do so if I haven’t enjoyed their prior work much. Really, I’m bored with that whole moody dance-rock genre in general.

    Lots of people, like you, think they’re great. To date, I don’t. No biggy.
